Feeling Good!

The kittens (even little Miss Bunny!) are all starting to feel much better! Clarke and Lois are done with their antibiotics and the others only have a few days left, but they are already running around and playing at full speed once more.

My beautiful Lois has really opened up and is now quite the sweet little cuddle bug!

Can I have that toy?!

Or a snuggle?! Yeah... I wants a snuggle!

Yup... That's the spot!

Clarke is still on the shy side, but I can pet him and he leans into the ear scratches. He is such a gentle soul.

The Cafe kittens have also gotten comfortable with me, especially Mr. Mocha! Just look at that handsome snuggly face of his!

He is also a meerkat like his buddy Lois... Silly boy!

Dolce is still a bit skeptical about me, but is letting me pet him in exchange for food. Ha ha. I'm not above bribery so that works for me!

Bunny is feeling so well that she's even helping me update the blog!

Bunny's home!

Bunny is home from the vet! She was so happy to see me that she had to ride home perched on my shoulder and nuzzling my cheek. Silly kitten.

Vet Visits

My little Cafe Kittens had the sniffles, but they are feeling much better now and running around the bathroom like playful little crazies once more!

Poor little Bunny still wasn't feeling super though so she headed back to the vet for some medicine that will be gentler on her tummy. Our foster dog Polly came along for the ride to keep her company.

Bunny is still on the mend, but is already feeling better with her new medicine cocktail!

Hammock Hugs

Clark Kent and Lois Lane may be in love. They spend the whole adoption event hugging in their hammock!

Adoption Day!

Great news! General Zod was adopted today! His sister Lois Lane and their buddy Clark Kent are still looking for homes. They were very brave at the adoption event today and had lots of fun snoozing in their hammock together.

Clarke especially loved the hammock!

Meet the Kittens of Steel, the Cafe Kittens, and Bunny!

Pineapple needed some buddies since Chevy and Tangelo are at the Leesburg Petsmart, so I went to pick up some more kittens at the shelter today. I ended up leaving with more kittens than I planned on... That seems to happen to me a lot! So instead of six kittens... I brought home ten kittens. There are two litters and two singletons. Most of the kittens are very shy. When we got home they were hiding and very overwhelmed, but that's understandable given all of the changes they have been through. The good news is that they are safe now and will be learning all about the good life.

The bigger litter of three and a singleton tuxedo will be named the Kittens of Steel. The grey boy will be General Zod, the tabby/white girl will be Lois Lane, and the small silver tabby will be Martha Kent. The tuxedo boy is a little shy so I named him Clark Kent to bring out his inner Superman.

The second batch of kittens are a little smaller and won't be ready until next weekend. They are all boys (three black, one orange tabby, and one brown tabby) will be the Cafe Kittens - Americano, Macchiato, Latte, Mocha, and Dolce. They are shy, but already starting to explore and play! They especially love the kitty city I made them as a hangout!

The final last minute addition was Miss Bunny. She was new to the shelter and came in with a broken nubbin tail. I had everyone packed up and was ready to head out when she pawed at me from her cage... So I found myself saying "I'll take that little one too." She is absolutely adorable and loves affection so she and Pineapple will be good role models for my shy guys.
